Last night Husky played another great set at Wombye Pub.
Of course, I was there with my camera and took some images of the gig but I had also the privilege to see the band backstage just before the go on stage.

HUSKY, Another Band Shot

Do you know HUSKY ?
A few months ago, as most of us ,I discovered them on Triple J Unearthed and since really like their music and as we say in my home country, there is ” un je ne sais quoi ” – Talent certainly ?- that put them a cut above the rest.
You should have a listen to them and follow what they are doing : they are going to be Big. It is for a good that Triple J has included them on their list of Next Crop artists to watch in 2012.
Last week, they played in my town, Eumundi. When a band come to you, it should be easy to organise some photos.
Unfortunately for me, we did them late in the afternoon while it was raining so not enough day light and my lighting messed up. I couldn’t do what i had in mind.
But, Here is what i did :

Snakes are back

It’s start to be warm on the Sunshine Coast and the snakes seem to love it and to make the most of it. Around the house, very close i should say we spotted 3 different snakes in 2 days. 2 Carpets an a keelback. So far so good they are like pets and non-venomous.
i took a close up of the skin of the first one
this one was hunting frogs in the pond next to the house.
Btw i haven’t heard any marshfrog tonight .
She or he didn’t like me to be so close while she/he is digesting. You can see its big bailey.

Yesterday, we went to see the 4th and last show Gotye played at the powehouse this week-end.
Yes, the show was incredible, magical, perfect with its 10-piece band, and its superb visuals.
check out the net and I’m sure, you will find a review with much more word and a better description than mine.
i took some photos. The show was sold out and i couln’t d really move around for the best angles. I stayed where i was and tried to do the best i could without bothering the crowd next to me.
